As a February baby, I always feel like this month moves at a strange, slow pace—your reflections captured that feeling so well. Loved the cozy vibes, the sourdough, and that nod to finding little joys even when the days blur together. This post felt like a warm cup of tea.
You've achieved so much, and in difficult circumstances. Ted got a lot out of your online cooking sessions in the pandemic, it really brightened our spring in those few weeks!
Lovely to read such a long newsy post. So grateful my younger son benefited from Cooking Club back in the day — and at risk of repeating myself, your online community classes cheered me immensely during those dark pandemic days (also I perfected a fried rice dish thanks to you which has saved my bacon (ha) for last-minute mealtimes!).
Yes, your family got lots of different cooking club experiences and I'm so grateful I could offer them! Yay re: the fried rice, it really is a "save your bacon" kind of dish!

Thank you so much. January for me moved at a glacial pace, February felt more of a comfortable slow pace. I am glad this post resonated with you :)

So thoughtful Mardi. Indeed - it is ok to move forward with new versions of ourselves. Love this.
New and improved, I like that!
